Silhouette Drawings

One of the most basic ways to discover the advantage of proportion and negative space is through silhouette exercises. It allows you to capture the form of an object without worrying about the inner detail, while still resulting in a satisfying piece of artwork. I created a silhouette sequence of myself looking in the mirror and playing with my hair, because when I’m not on my laptop I’m usually walking around my room and making weird faces in the mirror. all silhouettes were created in firealpaca
